On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - dark amber with a decent head. Nose - chocolate then hazelnuts and toffee. Taste - more hazelnuts intermingled with biscuits and toffee with a sweet malt note instead of the chocolate. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a biscuity dry finish. Overall - yes enjoyable.

Cask @ Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow. Amber-brown colour. Full on nutty-hoppy aroma is dead on accurate for the name. Sweet front, very nutty, lots of earthy, hoppy, German breadcrust nuance. Quality brown. It is unusual for an English brewery to make an American beer this authentic. Out-yanked the yanks.
