Sample at SBWF 2016. A bit hazy light amber with a white head. Aroma of citrus, some pineapple and hay. Similar taste. Also caramel and light malt. The finish was medium bitter.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Ugly Duck Retro Double IPA ].Clear medium golden yellow orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, orange - mandarin, fruity hops, tropical fruit, light grapefruit, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, pine - orange, mandarin, dry, belgium yeast fruity. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160411]

Fra fad på DØE dag 2, sammen med Steven: uklar kobber med lite skum. iflg omtalen en "klassisk stærk V8’er i modsætning til de nye hybridmotorer oversat til ølsprog. Old School amerikanske humler med C - Cascade, Chinook og Columbus rykker med en 100+ IBU". Og det kjennes godt, her er rikleig med grapefrukt, kvae og bitterappelsiner i en solid maltkropp. Varmende og god, men best egnet til små glass.

Very hazy amber beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Softish malts, light creamy sweetness with a trace of caramel. Good hop spice. Tangy ripe orange. Orange peel and mild tangerine. Semi dry finish. No shouty hops here but it’s still satisfyingly hoppy and tasty.

Draught, 9.0% at KØ16. OK hop aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite sweet with an orange peel citrus note. OK bitter but more on the sweet side. 7 3 7 3 16

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el Lupulo 04..02..2016. (r33). Fcpref 04..11..2016. Color ámbar anaranjado velado con espuma blanca. Aromas y sabores lupulados frutales maduros, algo herbaceos ligeramente resinosos terrosos y oído dos. Cuerpo medio algo pastoso con 9 vol. Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.

Hazy amber, offwhite froth. Aroma has caramel, pineapple, peach and light pine notes. Flavour is juicy and rather sweet. Piney, caramely with hints of rubberbands... good.

Tap@Black Swan,Copenhagen – medium fuzzy amber pour with off-white head. Aroma and taste is a plethora of citrus and tropical fruits, tangerine, grapefruit, decent caramel malty sweet backbone, some grassy and floral hoppy action, pine needles, bitter finish. Good stuff.

Bottle.Hazy orange colour with small head.Aroma is strong hoppy with good flavor of greapfruits and herbs,nice juicy with dry mouthfeels and fresh dry finish.
