Sherry barrel aged limited version of Pime Öö.
Taste: Big and bold, this immediately makes the Pedro Ximenez felt. Luxuriously sweet, with a heavy presence of cherry and chocolate. The raisin character from the aroma comes through again, sliding down the tongue smoothly. Best enjoyed when sipped by a fireplace.
Appearance: Jet black with a brief ruby tinted light brown head.
Nose: The smell of dates, raisins, cranberries, and above all, sherry overwhelm the room. Blackcurrant jam, smooth chocolate, and a light toasted oak character come through later, whilst sweet malts and a hint of alcohol closes the aroma.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Special B, Crystal 300, Crystal 150, Crystal 200, Carafa type 2 special, Chocolate malt, Chocolate Rye, Oats
Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer

Superficial sample from Gunnfryds ticker party. Pitch black body under a small beige head. Aroma has dark malt, licorices, chocolate, dry fruit, mild wood and hint of sherry. Taste is very sweet, but with certain alcohol/bitter balance. Dark malt, dry fruit, oak and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Very nice.

Bottle. It's close to black in the glass, oily, with a small dark beige head. The aroma has a good oxidation touch. Roasted malts, oat, burnt hints, dark chocolate and coffee, with a light toffee hint. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and super-velvety, some carbonation though. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, some dark dried fruits, oat and oak. Everlasting finish. Pretty vinous all the way, in a very pleasant way. Nice indeed. 230422

Bottle. Pitch black, tiny beige head, not lasting. Chocolate with boozy notes, quite present, some roasted notes. Very strong sweetness, syrupy, sugary, biscuity with lots of alcohol, very warming. Fuller body. Strong booze.

bottle. pours dark brown, settles black with a small brown head. looks awesome. Aroma of wood, hard roasted malts, coffee, very dark chocolate, booze (not sweet booze) dry well rounded complex but still easy to get to aroma. flavor is a pretty perfect balance between roasted malts and great booze, and towards the end the flavor character changes a bit and gets both sweeter and more licorice like bitter. A really good treat. After a few small sips the beer does come off as being a little bit too sweet for my preferences, the sweetness seems to be from both the sherry and the malts. Anyway, awesome imp barrel aged stout, that Oo really do super well when being barrelled.

Bottle. Black with a small tan head. Brooding aroma of heavy roast, dried fruit, chocolate, strong bread, almonds, singed sugars, oak. Silky, low carbonation. Very sweet with lots of of singed dark sugars and dried fruit - partly the PX I guess. Little hints of orange and pear peek out. Chocolate, lurking roast. Almost a pause before moderate bitterness. Gentle oak is drying and slightly peppery. No overt alcohol (would I have guessed much over 10% ABV?). A lot going for it but just _so_ sweet.
