Sherry barrel aged limited version of Pime Öö.
Taste: Big and bold, this immediately makes the Pedro Ximenez felt. Luxuriously sweet, with a heavy presence of cherry and chocolate. The raisin character from the aroma comes through again, sliding down the tongue smoothly. Best enjoyed when sipped by a fireplace.
Appearance: Jet black with a brief ruby tinted light brown head.
Nose: The smell of dates, raisins, cranberries, and above all, sherry overwhelm the room. Blackcurrant jam, smooth chocolate, and a light toasted oak character come through later, whilst sweet malts and a hint of alcohol closes the aroma.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Special B, Crystal 300, Crystal 150, Crystal 200, Carafa type 2 special, Chocolate malt, Chocolate Rye, Oats
Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer

Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Nice dark chocolate and a little bit of dark fruit. Dark chocolate, sweet dark fruit and a rich finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Almost black color. Aroma: very sweet, pies, dried fruits, sweet sherry, dark chocolate, prunes, a little smoked, bread with caramel and toasted crust. Very sweet taste, dried fruits, blue raisins, pies, prunes, sweet sherry, caramel, very good!

Bottle from Best of Beers. Black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, wood and sherry. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily. 290421

330ml bottle at Battle of Bull, Cheras, Malaysia. Poured a completely black colour with a mostly lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel, light boozy alcohol, big red berry fruits. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, raisin, cherry, chocolate, light dry coffee, warm alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation. Superb. The body and sweetness did a great job of masking the alcohol. Would drink again, but perhaps not this evening 😫

Bottle. A- Oak, sherry, dark fruits, vinous. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal brown head. T- Licorice, sherry, oak, sweet, char, mild blueberries. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, complex finish. O- A bit sweeter than I expected. Pretty complex from the sherry which imparts a lot of sweet and slightly tart dark fruits. I like it a lot but not quite in love with it.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet black chocolate notes with some light liquor notes is pleasant. Taste is a mix of sweet black cholate notes with light notes of Xeres and light roasted malt with a sweet finish. Body is full with nice creamy texture and good carbonation with light warming alcohol. Solid barrel-aged stout but I was expecting more form the Xeres barrels.
