Sherry barrel aged limited version of Pime Öö.
Taste: Big and bold, this immediately makes the Pedro Ximenez felt. Luxuriously sweet, with a heavy presence of cherry and chocolate. The raisin character from the aroma comes through again, sliding down the tongue smoothly. Best enjoyed when sipped by a fireplace.
Appearance: Jet black with a brief ruby tinted light brown head.
Nose: The smell of dates, raisins, cranberries, and above all, sherry overwhelm the room. Blackcurrant jam, smooth chocolate, and a light toasted oak character come through later, whilst sweet malts and a hint of alcohol closes the aroma.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Special B, Crystal 300, Crystal 150, Crystal 200, Carafa type 2 special, Chocolate malt, Chocolate Rye, Oats
Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer

0,33l bottle from Alko, Iso-Omena. Almost black beer with small head. Aroma is strong. It has dried fruits, barrel, sherry, vanilla and licorice. Taste has malts, dried fruits (raisins, plums), cyrup, vanilla and licorice. Barrel and sherry does also exist. Full body, very low carbonation. Very sweet, but well balanced and delicious beer! Lot like a wine feeling. Real port wine dessert.

A black beer, a head is dense, quite small and brown. Aroma has dried fruits with raisin and dates, salt liquorice, some sherry, strong sweetness, hint of barrel. Taste has strongly sweetness of malts and dried fruits, salt liquorice, raisin and other dried fruits, barrel. Full bodied, slight stickyness. Too sweet that reduces the nuancees. Anyway, the good beer.

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Svart. Middels høyt mokkafarget skum som daler passe fort. Torvaroma med hint av sherry. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken innholdsrik. Torv. Hint av lakris - men den søte sherryen skinner gjennom. Blir vel søt - godt hjulpet av alkoholen.

Sampled from tap at 'Holy Craft Beer Bar'. Black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and a little woody aroma of dark chocolate, licorice, some coffee and a touch of Sherry. Fairly sweet, malty, gently roasty, slightly woody and a little fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, hard-roasted coffee, some Sherry and hints of dark fruits, followed by a long, fairly roasty-bitter, earthy, fairly warming without being boozy and just a little woody finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. What a lovely beer, superbly balanced, no alcohol detectable at all, maybe too sweet but I like that. Good!

Aroma of tobacco, moderate smoke, soy sauce, coffee, cocoa powder, dried fruits, some liquorice, some sherry.
Tastes quite similar, while sweeter, with more toffee, molasses, with the sherry coming more through.
Full, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes medium sweet, moderate dry, moderate roasty, sherry, soy sauce.
Very nice. Really complex, especially the nose, with a great mix of robust, roasty notes, sweet fruits and the sherry. Taste is a bit too sweet though, almost a bit sticky. Characterful stuff, while not among my favourite ones from this brewery.

Beer tasting with Višnja 666. Bottle. Blach, tan head. Roasty, dried fruit jam, light liquorice, sherry barrel. Sweet and spicy, prunes and other dried fruit. Very thick and sticky. I don't believe you!

Bottle. Color: Black, very thin light brown head. Aroma: Dark roasted malt, chocolate, booze. Hints of coffee. Taste: Far over medium sweet, dark roasted malt, rye, mocha, sweet chocolate, fudge. Boozy, sweetish sherry. Fruity, wood and vanilla hints. Moderate to medium bitterness. Full body, below average carbonation. Creamy and warming, dry-ish mouthfeel. Dessert beer. Another great one in the Põhjala Cellar Series.

BB 03.07.2020. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, licorice, some oxidation, wood, ripe fruits, bit boozy, light marzian, some sherry. very subtle but very nice smell. full body, light carbonation, oily mouthfeel. tastes of soy sauce, earthy, licorice, molasses, cardboard, sherry, light wood, some booze, marzipan, rather nutty, light coconut, ripe fruits, light smoke notes. finishes light to medium sweet with notes of molasses, sherry notes and soy sauce. very tense mouthfeel. rather on the sweet side though and quite heavy. also a bit on the soy sauceish side. overall all things considered this is a very nice one, but could have been even better.

Bottle, 330 ml from Že V Redu Primož. Shared with JFK10000 and Max. Pours black with tan head. Chocolate, spices, dark fruit, vanilla, some barrel, dense, quite sweet. Syrupy and full bodied.
