Sherry barrel aged limited version of Pime Öö.
Taste: Big and bold, this immediately makes the Pedro Ximenez felt. Luxuriously sweet, with a heavy presence of cherry and chocolate. The raisin character from the aroma comes through again, sliding down the tongue smoothly. Best enjoyed when sipped by a fireplace.
Appearance: Jet black with a brief ruby tinted light brown head.
Nose: The smell of dates, raisins, cranberries, and above all, sherry overwhelm the room. Blackcurrant jam, smooth chocolate, and a light toasted oak character come through later, whilst sweet malts and a hint of alcohol closes the aroma.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Special B, Crystal 300, Crystal 150, Crystal 200, Carafa type 2 special, Chocolate malt, Chocolate Rye, Oats
Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer

330mL bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma is intense, with heaps of sherry barrels upfront, followed by light roast. Flavour is exceptionally complex, with sweet dark fruits, intense sherry and light roast. Quite boozy, but it works totally well. Very sweet and liqueur-like. Wonderful.

#400 Imperial Stout. Bottle at home, 24th March 18. Pours black, viscous. Aroma is rich dark fruit, booze and barrel, PX for sure. Taste is rich sweet, mental, booze, dark fruit, prune juice, bitter, cararmel, linger of rich delicious PX sherry, wood, it's rich and tough going, but amazing muck.

Bottle at home. Black with tan head. Massive sweet deep roasted chocolate malts, lots of px sherry, charcoal, roasted hazelnut and almond, red fruit, dried fruit, earthy coffee, almond milk, burnt sugar and marshmallows. Massive sweet, bitter and light spicy. Full body, smooth, oily, slick and soft carbonation. Awesome. Tastes like Hunnapuh’s with PX sherry.

On tap @EurHop 2017 (Rome). Nera, densa, impenetrabile, schiuma media color cappuccino, molto persistente. Al naso note di cioccolato, caffé, vaniglia, liquore, ciliegia, legno. In bocca è dolce, rotonda, calda, avvolgente, corposa, splendida. Corpo pieno, carbonazione medio-leggera. Impressionante.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Mr Tipple. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Rich dark malts bring rich dark chocolate. A little salted caramel. Tangy dark fruits. Smooth semi dry finish. Mildly spicy sherry and a touch of Port wine. Rich and heady. Very nice.

Very dark brown pour with a short-lived tan head. Huge sherry notes, fortified wine, toasted caramel, macerated cherries, light oxidized apples, liquor truffles, a lot of oak/wood and liquid chocolate. Really thick, full bodied, low carbonation, almost a dessert stout if it weren't for the dominant sherry notes. The alcohol is very well hidden. Very complex beer, intense, a sipper.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of oak, red fruit, chocolate, caramel and licorice. Taste has soft oaky sherry, red fruit, chocolate, licorice, caramel and a boozy px finish. The sherry did this beer well.
