Sherry barrel aged limited version of Pime Öö.
Taste: Big and bold, this immediately makes the Pedro Ximenez felt. Luxuriously sweet, with a heavy presence of cherry and chocolate. The raisin character from the aroma comes through again, sliding down the tongue smoothly. Best enjoyed when sipped by a fireplace.
Appearance: Jet black with a brief ruby tinted light brown head.
Nose: The smell of dates, raisins, cranberries, and above all, sherry overwhelm the room. Blackcurrant jam, smooth chocolate, and a light toasted oak character come through later, whilst sweet malts and a hint of alcohol closes the aroma.
Malts: Pale malt, Munich malt, Special B, Crystal 300, Crystal 150, Crystal 200, Carafa type 2 special, Chocolate malt, Chocolate Rye, Oats
Hops: Magnum, Northern Brewer

Thank you! 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Beerlovers Bar. Black, thick chocolate mousse head. Nose is massive thick sticky umami soy sauce – taste starts out with an amazing amount of dark fruit, chocolate cacao, great dark chocolate, not sure about the sherry but very thick & interesting notes here. Very thick bodied, black chocolate & touch soy sauce but not too much. Massive, lovely.

Minus 1 point for Appearance, due to the utterly superfluous, pedantic and irritating wax on the cap Small mossy-tan head over black beer. Old sherry, Amontillado, chocolate ganache, red grapes, vinous. Coffee hints going to quite roasted. Quite sweet, oversugared coffee/mocha, chocolate and tobacco hints. Flavourwise the sherry is not that obvious as in the nose; the alcohol however is. Ultra thick, viscous, rich and voluptuous MF; alcoholheat. Aftertaste achieves excellent balance. Excellent, but they let the sherry make it just a tad too sweet to become truly outstanding. 8/3/8/5/15

33cl Bottle, tfs Kermis! Black colour, beige-brown head. Aroma of sherry, oxidized, sugar, raisins, leather, some roasted malts. Flavour is very sweet, sugary, forest fruits, raisins, some liquorice, sherry, brown sugar, hint of roast, bittersweet finish. Full bodied. It’s way better than the regular Pime Öö but still too sweet for me. Tasty brew though.

8 4 7 3 15 Bottle @ Bor’s. Pitch black color. Brown head. Aroma’s are sweet, sherry-ish, a bit boozy. Retronasal it’s sweet, oatmeal, sherry/port, wood. Flavor is heavy sweet, chocolate. Alcohol still feels quite modest despite the 13.9%. Full bodied, silky, syruppy. Long finish. Nice, but a bit too sweet for me.

Bottle shared at Borrie’s curry tasting. Black with small dark brown head. Massive sweet sherry, raisins, alcohol, milk chocolate, earthy, honeyed nuts, grass, cocoa nibs. Very very sweet but there’s also a sharp medium bitterness. Full bodied with very low carbonation. It’s nice but also super sweet.
