Wire and cork 750ml bottle, kindly shared by djoeye. Remaining low white head leaving lacing rings on the glass. Hazed golden body. Spiced fruity nose, saison twist. Tasted of canned fruits joined by a bite of clove. Bitter endnotes. Satisfying. (Session with djoeye and Finn, PivotekaH7, Tromsø 23.07.2018).

Fra flaske spandert av djoeye. Delt med ham og Rune i H7. Gylden. Uklar. Middels høyt tett kritthvitt skum. Tynn teppelacing. Lett krydderaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken kanel & rosmarin.

Bottle, 5.7%. Weak spicy aroma. Cloudy yellow colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is spicy and has a distinct tobacco and vanilla note from the oak. A bit sweet. The oak does not fit this beer very well, in my opinion, but not too bad.

Bottle. Pours hazy lightish amber with airy but stable white head. Clear aroma of fruit, with notes of yeast and hints of caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of fruit and citrus and grassy and malty and barrellike touches. Hints of spice. Very mild salty hints in the otherwise estery and mildly acidic aftertaste. Okay but a little watery and, for some reason, barrellike.

750 ml bottle. Unclear orange body with a big, creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, spicy and floral with a touch of wood. Flavor is smooth malt, fruity, spicy with yeast and some wood. Medium body and OK aftertaste. Quite a nice Saison this is.

Bottle, 75cl corked. It’s a cloudy pale orange golden colored beer with a dense white head leaving some lacing. The aroma is quite oaked, orange, peppery yeast and some malts chiming in. Hints of caramel. In my opinion the flavor too is too heavy on the oak, it’s rich in tannins, nicely carbonated and quite dry on the palate. Pale malts, grass, yeast and some black pepper in the flavor. Decent bitterness, but I wouldn’t mind more of it. Long fruity and heavily oaked finish. A decent beer indeed, but I’d tone down the oak a bit. 161120
