Formerly made for the now closed Bryggens Ølbar, Copenhagen.

Bryggens Pale Ale is a beautiful, golden beer that is excellent as a thirst quencher - a thirst quencher with plenty of edge and character. And with its 5.5%, it is a beer with session qualities, which means that you can drink a few without going overboard. At Bryggens Ølbar, we have never hidden that we love a juicy round of hops, so we got Amager Bryghus to find all the best from the shelves. Bryggens Pale Ale is hopped AND dry hopped with Amarillo, Cascade, Centennial, Chinook and Simcoe - and this gives lots of citrus, peach and pine needle notes in both taste and aroma.

Draught. Cloudy golden-amber with a small, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, pines, peach and light caramel malts. Taste is sweet - a bit to sweet for my likings. Light to medium body, creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet and fruity. Definitely a well made beer - it´s hard to please everyone.

(Draught at Bryggens Ölbar, Copenhagen, 13 July 2013) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of citrus, crystal malt and crisp-bread. Malty, hoppy taste with crisp-bread, toast, citrus, hints of resin and a generous bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well made. Nice one.

Første besøk på på Bryggens Ølbar, og det gjester til tranfigelse. Husets eget fadøl, og i solskinnet var dette en typeriktig og lettdrikkelig ipa. Nok et godt bryg fra Amagerdrængerne.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hay, and citrusy hops, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Doesn’t offend anybody, for me it’s a bit boring.
