Half of gravity cask at the Hitchin Beer Festival. A rich and deep colour in the glass with lots of malt on the palate and plenty of balancing bitter hops. A true English IPA.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas of ginger cake, light herbs. Taste is cake again, light orange. I'd definitely put this in ESB territory. Light bitter finish.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Appearance - copper with a nicely proportioned cream head. Nose - dried fruit, ginger cake. Taste - Jamaica Cake, malt loaf and more dried citrus. Palate - creamy in texture, medium bodied. Could have a bit more bitterness. Overall - good, but very old fashioned. Really this is an ESB, which is no bad thing.

Cask from the brewer's own stall at Feast at Waddesdon Manor. Deep gold with a thin white head. Leafy, floral hops with citrus hints. A little light, but pleasant enough.
