Bottle found at the Pivovarsky Klub in Prague Poured a golden body. Light honeyish fruity nose. Sweet orangey fruity start ending with a herbal/grapeseed bitter hop assault. Had far hoppier IPAs, expected more.

Bottle. Clear golden, almost orange, with thin head. Intense hop aroma that is complex and very appealing with hints of stone fruit. Full body with medium carbonation. Intense flavours that commands your full attention. It starts with a complex full fruity mix and metamorphoses into a huge hoppy bitter finish with a hardcore alcohol undrtone with the bitter finish lasting and lasting. An exceptional beer but not one for everyday - really a showpiece of what is possible - a bit extreme really.

[330ml bottle from Jim - cheers!] Batch 228. Amber, thin white head. Powerful, fresh aroma of candied tropical fruit and those fruit salad chewy sweets from your childhood. Tropical fruits carry on into the flavour with tons of hops, grapefruit, pine, a bit of petrol and a little bitterness. Alcohol very evident. Interesting but vicious - it goes sraight to your head and is very much a beer for sipping.

tap at ørsted ølbar on saturday 5th september. i’d guess it’s the new version. clear golden yellow, smooth white head. flowery wooden, mellow hoppy aroma. flavor is malt, hops, bitterhops, flowery hops, citrus. palate is veryt smooth. something in the hop profile is a bit strange, otherwise a decent strong hoppy ipa.

330ml bottle from Sainsburys Bracknell, batch #156. Amber with a scummy white head; rich aroma of citrus, malt and honey; lively in the mouth with fresh, zingy, citrus, herbal, hop flavours; moving straight to a dry hoppy finish without a chance of the orange fruits and malts to fully develop. The alcohol is well masked by a rasping, herbal, beefy, finish. This could be a great beer, but it’s trying too hard.

Bottle from Sainsburys, batch 037. Pours amber/gold with a white head which lasts for a few minutes or so. Very light aromas of malts, barley, tangerine. Had to really sniff this one to discern the aroma! Flavours of citrus, barley sugars, toffee. Fiinshes bitter, slightly hoppy with some caramel notes.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol (batch 220). Orange with next to no head and moderate carbonation. Sweet, corny and orange aroma with a touch of pine. Sweet malt and pine needle aroma with a finish more caramel than hoppy, with some burning alcohol in the finish. Disjointed.

Draught at Ølbaren, on July 11, 2009Clear golden color, dense tan head. Cheese scent, mostly "grønmøgelost". Hoppy and cheese taste. Long lasting bitterness and cheese aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, high bitterness.
