Dark brown and not much head. Massive coconut, very thick, light chocolate. The fatty richness of the coconut is serious business here. Is there so much thing as too much coconut? This beer aims to determine where you stand on that question.

Can to tulip glass. Pours black with brown highlights all around. Head is light brown and retains as a full collar and dusting over the top. Powerful coconut and vanilla aromas. Flavor is sweet milk, coconut and slight chocolate. Very sweet.

Pretty thick and oily. Lots of chocolate and some tang. Definitely one of those diabetes stouts. Black pour with mocha head. Sweet finish with light roast. Tap at Other Half

On tap at Cellarmaker - Pizza House, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out coconut upfront, with modest roast and a little dry cocoa. Flavour is loaded with intense toasted coconut upfront and a little roast to back. Love the coconut on this. Dry and coconuty finish. Tasty.

Poured from a 32 oz crowler. Aroma is full of toasted coconut with lighter chocolate and roast notes. Hints of alcohol and faint toffee and caramel notes. Pours black with a large, thick, mocha head that recedes steadily to a small, creamy film that lingers. Medium carbonation and light lacing. Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of chocolate, dark and milk, lighter toffee and caramel. Moderate roast notes with moderate coconut and faint almond and oak notes. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer. Solid malt profile with lots of chocolate and a strong coconut presence. Alcohol is nice and light allowing the beer to be somewhat crushable.

On tap at the brewery. It pours a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is strong with coconut and a little coffee. The flavor has gigantic notes of toasted coconut and coffee. Hints of cola and cocoa, but still pretty rich on the palate. Lower carbonation. Huge nutty, coconut finish.

The beer is black with a small to medium light brown head. A bit of lacing. Big coconut flavor in the aroma. Just dominates the stout in a good way. It smells like coconut milk poured on to a stout brownie. Mild toasted malt, lots of chocolate. Big coconut in the taste but it’s not quite as dominant. Pretty good dose of caramel malt sweetness. Full smooth mouthfeel. Could be a bit chewier but it’s plenty thick for the abv. Very nice combination of chocolate and coconut. Tasty, tasty beer.
