Om onze magnifieke tourgids, resident DJ en charmante barman van Café De Welkom Jasper Pollet te eren (en te plagen) brouwden we opnieuw een tripeltje (zijn minst favouriete stijl). Na Jasper’s Choice is deze Tripel gebrouwen met Golden naked oats voor de fluwelen, koekjesachtige toets en Tettnang en Triskel om de licht hoppige toets te verzorgen.

5 September 2024. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew!

A: clear golden, small, frothy, white head.
A: wet grass, straw, banana peel, clove, vodka, apple.
T: sweet banana & apple, spicy clove & yeast, bread.
F: floral & grassy hops, bitter clove-like phenols, boozy vodka-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Drinkable but on the boozy side. What can I say? Cheers to Jasper!

(Draught at Le Barboteur, Brussels, 16 Oct 2024) Hazy pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of dried pineapple, grass, herbs and marzipan. Fruity, hoppy taste with dried pineapple, grass, citrus, herbs, marzipan and a balanced herbal bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced tripel. Nice one.

Draft @ the brewery. Hazy blond colour, white foam. Light sweet, some banana and herbal notes, cereals. Malty and light hoppy finish.

4/IX/24 - on tap @ DOK Brewing Company (Gent), BB: n/a (2024-835)

Clear light orange beer, big creamy off-white head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, banana, a bit sugary, some tobacco, cookies, grains, some caramel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very malty, grains, a bit sweet, more malts, gentle bitterness, some banana, caramel. Aftertaste: sweet, cookies, caramel, hint of vanilla.
