This beer is a barrel aged Imperial Stout, that was aged for 16 months in a blend of Bourbon and Vino Naranja barrels. very nice balanced with tones of Vanilla en orange.

Pitch black with a well presented khaki head that veers to the edge in time.
Nose is dark fruit esters, raisins, dates, chocolate, charr, dark malts.
Taste comprises ripe fruits, bourbon nip, vinous, oaked tones, fruit cake mix, figs, dates.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising fruit.
Fun enough BA impy if a little raw in places.

F: thin, tanned, quick gone to some bubbles.
C: black, opaque.
A: orange and green apples, chocolate, woody, cocoa, vinous, bit vanilla, raisins, bourbon.
T: full malty base, woody, orange, chocolate, vanilla, green apples, raisins, coffee, light oily mouthfeel, nice boozy evening sipper, enjoyed.

Can. Near opaque dark brown beer, small and short lived darkish tan Lightish palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark chocolate malts, albeit a little thin in the mouthfeel. Bountiful Orange Wine character, a little vanilla oak and that slightly sour and slightly citrus peel character. A little bitterish dust. Bourbon barrel is very surprisingly, a secondary aspect here. Much inferior and very late to exhibit. Smooth and semi dry finish, the Orange wine bringing a mild woody bitterness. Interesting brew. The orange wine barrelling brings a new flavour profile that is new my experience of beer if, familiar in those ashamed side journeys in to the lands of Bacchus!

Opaque deep brown to black with small long-living tan head. Predominant oak barrel profile delivering tannins, vanilla, green apple, wood. Additional dark malts, dried fruits, chocolate, some hop. Light sweet & bitter. Not bad. Controversial balance though.

Clear dark brown beer, no head. Aroma: oh my, all tart green apples, sourish impression, very strong and pungent, and not very good... MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: lots and lots of alcohol, whisky, some bitterness, strong roast. Aftertaste: unpleasant, all green apples, too much alcohol, unpleasant, dark caramel, apple skin, bit sourish, meh. Is it infected?
