Hand pulled pint at the Railway Tavern, Newport, Shropshire on 22nd October 2025. Light golden body, white crown. Hoppy front on a solid malty base, a bit weak (it's only 3.4% ABV), but it was fine overall.

Cask at the excellent Trafalgar Freehouse 09/08/2024 Fresh fruity and malty aroma and taste, subtle notes of melon, white grape, light citrus lemony kiss, straw, pale bready malts, lovely soft cask carb and mouthfeel, refreshing bitter hoppy finish. Lovely and in great condition, perfect for this weather.

12/7/2024. Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is mucky, citrus, straw, horse blanket. Moderate sweetness, quite heavy bitterness. Moderate body, oily and watery, average soft carbonation. Tasted okay but aroma was not good.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a thin white head; aroma of fresh hedgerow hops; strong taste of fresh hops, herbal and resinous, over a sweetish malt base; then a lingering bitter finish. Very good indeed, if you like fresh hops!

Handpull cask at the Salmon, Leicester. Pale to mid-gold and clear with a soapy white head. Sweet juicy aroma, white grape, some grassy and floral notes. Bitter taste with intense bittering hop in the back on the tongue. More white grape but there's an icky sulphurous character which brings the score down. Long bitter finish: metallic, medicinal and gooseberry-y. Got some flaws but overall good.
