Cask at the Beer Emporium - Bristol. Pours clear orange with minimal head. The aroma holds toasted leaves, brown bread, earth. Light sweet flavour with more brown bread, leaves, orange peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation; so so condition. Finishes with more leaves, leathery berries, brown bread, low bitterness. So so overall.

Cask at Beer Emporium. It pours clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, caramel, toffee, dried fruits, fruit cake and candied peel. The taste is dry, bitter, chewy, oily, toasty grain, doughy white bread, lemonade and wood with a drying finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Fair old skool bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 9/2/2017. Amber in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. Solid session bitter, with some biscuity malts, leafy hops and a touch of hedgerow fruit, before a lingering, bitter, finish. Good.
