Pigs Ear 2025. Gravity. Very solid. Quite dry. Lean smokey character, clean pale malts, candied ham. Highly drinkable. Excellent.

A slightly hazy dark amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of smoked dark malt, bacon, caramel. Taste of smoked dark malt, bacon, caramel, nuts, moderate bitterness.

500ml bottle, pours a deep brown with a off white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, toffee, biscuit, hints of spice & smoked malt. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish. Enjoyable

Extraordinary large white foamy head on a murky brown coloured body. Pig, oak & smoked aroma. Sweet, woody, pig, grain & smoky tastes. Not for me.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden 22nd April 2023. Deep copper with shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Toasty malt and woodsmoke in aroma. Woodsmoke, smoked sausage and spiciness in-mouth with a smoky malt finish. Smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Splendid.

Keg at GBBF '19, day one, 06/08/19. Murky orange amber with a decent off white head. Nose is smoked malts, spice, biscuit, toffee. Taste comprises stewed fruits, good smoked malt base, brown bread, toffee. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent easy drinking smoked affair.

oro arico quasi ambrata leggera velatura schiuma poca non molto persistente nota maltata affumicata discreta un filo pungente un leggerissimo diacetile amaro contenuro piacevole maltato

Keg at GBBF: Poured a burnt orange with white head. Aroma is Smokey malts. Taste is smokey burnt malts, some band-aid medicinal. Weird but okay.
