Pours black with almost no head. Aroma is very much dominated by raspberries - reminds me of a raspberry milkshake (not that I've ever had one). Light to medium body. Mouthfeel is very flat, missing carbonation. Flavour is very sweet, more balanced with the raspberries, dark malts also come out too. Smooth and creamy, round. Quite nice but I wouldn't want to drink too much of it. Aroma is a bit artificial. Still quite nice though.

Bottle bought online from Brewdog. Pours black with no head. Aromas of cocoa, red berries & vanilla. Prominant flavours of raspberry, also chocolate, vanilla. Sweet with a nice bitter finish. Quite thin bodied, zero carb. Enjoyed it although would have preferred some carbonation

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is raspberry, roasted, vanilla, cream, taste is sweet, vanilla, creamy, rapsberry, totally flat, could do with a little carbonation.

Cask at Heidrun, 08/05/17. Pitch black with no head. Nose is earthy, cocoa powder, charr, tangy berry fruits. Taste comprises raspberries, chocolate, vanilla, lactic nip, earthy berries, charr, light spice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close. Decent enough fun stout that balances sweet and bitterness well.

Cask at the Reading Beerfest. Black. Fake chocolate with raspberry syrup and a hint of cherry. Far too sweet and sticky. Disappointing - I’d been looking forward to this one. Top marks for the beer’s name though!
