Gravity cask at the CAMRA NWAF ’14, Derby. Very dark brown, almost translucent with a wispy beige head. Scent of astringency, malt of seawater. Taste is sweet with a bitter interloper burrowing through the taste buds. A crisp and refreshing strong ale.

Cask, gravity at Derby, Roundhouse, NWAF, Saturday 22nd February 2014 Pours black with barely a bubble to be seen. Really chocolatey, really chocolatey but good quality dark Belgian chocolate. Wonderfully hoppy with a great bitterness thats tempered by the chocolate. Nigel has done another cracker here, great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9
