That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Padraig. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Lactose nose. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin dark malts, touch of dark malt creamy sweetness. Some lactose carries over from the nose. Spicy bubblegum ester. Spicy dark fruits. Light semi dry finish. Spicy dark malt linger and some unwelcome emulsion paint. Much to like but there are some off things here as well.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K, thanks to Manny, 15/01/16. Black with a decent tan covering. Nose is rich roast, spice, dark chocolate, orange chocolate, dark malts. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, black pepper, hint of liqourice, chocolate, subtle barrel. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi dyring close with a light boost. Ok impy, a touch hot in places but a decent enough sipper.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20k tasting - London. Thanks to Paddy for scaring this one up. Pours deep black-brown with a creamy, light tan head. The nose has notes of alcohol, torched wood, dry cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with strong bittersweet chocolate, cocoa, brownies, bitter earth, wood. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming at the close, with some burnt sugars, further baking cocoa. Just pretty OK overall.

Bottle at Kenny’s 20K, big thanks to Manny G. It pours jet black with a decent light tan head. The nose is rich, bitter - sweet, oily, vanilla, toasted coconut, toffee, rice pudding, earth dark fruits and fruit cake. The taste is bitter, rich roasted malts, chocolate cake, charred stuff, umami, toasted stuff, cracked black peppercorn, cacao nibs, rye whisky, some alcohol warmth and rocky road with smooth finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Rich and chewy. A rather nice barrel-aged imperial stout.
