That’ll be me 20K then @ ChrisO’s. Thanks to Paul. Almost clear amber beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is light, dry and has modest carbonation. Dry malts, tangy caramel. LIttle dust. Mild dried fruits. Light semi dry finish. Aged but okay.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K tasting - London. Many thanks to Paul for this old geezer! Pours clear gold. Pretty knackered, but not bad overall. Moderately sweet, lightly tangy, with notes of bready malts, faint citrus fruits. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation. Some further tangy fruit elements in the finish. The beer held up reasonably well, but certainly its best years are behind it.

Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20K. It pours clear red - brown with a tiny, bubbly head. The nose is earthy, woody, leather, toast, toffee, chewy malt and fruit cake. The taste is wood, leather, oily, chewy malt, burnt toffee, oxidised character, earth, dark fruit and fruit cake. Medium body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. It is obviously a bit past its prime, but overall its not too bad.
