Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 11/10/2016. Pours slightly hazy golden amber, light pinkish/orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense light pink head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tart/tangy blackberry, lemon, pear, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, blackberries, spice, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of tart/tangy blackberry, lemon, pear, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness and light bitter/spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of blackberry, lemon, pear, green apple, white grape, coriander, sea salt, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, blackberries, spice, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tartness balance, and zero puckering flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from tartness and carbonation, increasing through the glass. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately grainy/saline/acidic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice fruited gose style. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, blackberries, spice, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink; thanks to the balanced acidity. Not as lactic/acidic as I was expecting; but it’s really well balanced with plenty of blackberry flavors and well rounded classic style characteristics. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft at Growler USA. Clear in color gold good head retention. Aroma is mild blackberry, wheat, and hay. Very nice mild backberry, very mild tartness, no salt. Clean finish. Refreshing.

It’s not bad but really nothing special. The sour is definitely there and a little salt and so is the Blackberry but that’s about it.

Tap. Pours pinkish golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is light berries, sour mash. Flavor is very light tart, hints of salt, berry. Light plus body.

A hazed golden gose with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light blueberry jam, light acidity, light Epsom salts, nice. In mouth, a sweet blueberry beer with faint acidity, light mineral, a bit boring. On tap at Taste of Tops.

Bottle 12fl.oz. [ As Odell Brombeere Blackberry Gose ].Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, pale malt, moderate to light heavy berries - blackberry. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average to long duration, blackberry, light tart. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20150812]

Sampled at the brewery, 11/25/15. Clear orange color with light, drippy lace. Tart and lightly fruity. Salinity comes through as well. Decent example, though a little light.

Bottle at Derek’s place. Clear, light gold color. Some salt, and a little dry berry. Overall this is very light in the palate and flavor, but what is there is good. Some salt in the finish.

Bottle. Aroma of sour berry, wheat and salt. Fresh taste of sour wheat, mildly tart berries and salt, mostly in the finish. Nice gose.
