Aus der Flasche (bbe 31.10.2027) im 2025-09 getrunken. Diese dunkelbraune Bock zeigt deutliche Malz und Karamellnoten. Dazu kommt eine feine Robusta-Säure aber leider auch ein Hauch Lakritz, was beides nicht ganz so in das Bock passt.

Mørk brun med lys brunt skum. Lukter bourbon, eik og noe tørket mørk frukt. Fyldig. Smaker eik, vanilje, bourbon, fiken og noe kaffe. Middels lang.

TCBW2025. Ambery black colour with a small head. Aroma is toasted, some sweet malts, mild wooden and some slight spicy tones to it. Flavour is toasted, some wooden, mild spiciness with some vanilla and mild nutty and chocolaty tones too.

Brown colour and small beige head. Toasted malty nose. Medium-bodied. Toasted, some cocoa, alcohol. Steady. TCBW 2025.

375 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.5%. Very dark brown to black colour, large beige head. Distinct aroma of malts, oak, bourbon and vanilla. Medium sweet and oaky flavour with distinct notes of bourbon and vanilla. The bourbon makes the beer seem boozier than the 9.5% alone would warrant.

Bottle shared with TO at his place 26.12.24. Ebony. Brown head. Fine aroma and taste of dark malt, brittle, cigar box, bourbon and American oak. Well-balanced, but perhaps with a bit too much oak.

O du salige, adventen er en høytid for alle oss som elsker dobbelbock, belgiske dubbel, quadrupel og andre mørke skjønnheter! Jeg går løs på luke 11/24, en 0,375 flaske: brunsvart med eksemplarisk skum helt ned. Med sin høytidspregete aroma og smak med generøse mengder mørke fløtekarameller, bourbon/eik/vanilje, mørke og dyre dessertchokolader og nybrygget espresso føler jeg at den gjør meg til en litt bedre person.
