22 oz bottle. Aroma is bold Weller bourbon, raisins and prune. Flavor shows a rich malt Barley wine base. Richest of dark fruits. Prune, raisin and sticky toffee. Hints of tobacco. Crazy amount of malt depth!

Cheers to MadMitch. Delicious stuff. Rich and decadent, ample dark stewed fruits, toffee, leather, bourbon, fruit leather, modest booze, fruitcake, toasted honey, a nip of vanilla, mincemeat. A small dose is plenty, such is the depth and heft here.

CBJ Tasting. Bottle. Opaque cola brown. Thin tan head. Aroma has sweet booze and dark fruits. Peripheral sourness. Flavourwise it's enveloping - dark fruit with spur edge and booze. Thick. Oily. Soft-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Noice.

Tasting at CBJ, thanks to me. Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head, doesn't last. Smooth light palate, modest fine carbonation. Fine for this style. Smooth malts, a little chocolate and dark toffee. Massive bourbon but smooth. Bourbon soaked dark fruits. Mild bourbon spice. Smooth finish. Simple but sumptuous. The bourbon delivery is spot on.

Pitch black topped with a dirty tan head.
Nose is dried fruit rinds, figs, dark malts, chocolate, raisins.
Taste comprises figgy jam, liquid fruit cake, chocolate dipped raisins, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost cloaked in bourbon.
Solid.

Bottle at One last Hurrah for Cycle. Pours pitch black with a creamy beige head, offering aromas of chocolate, dried fruit, and a whisper of bourbon. The taste leans sweet and fruity, with decadent notes but lacking the depth of burnt sugar or robust barrel presence. Mouthfeel is smooth yet lighter than expected, making it easy to drink but not particularly memorable. Overall, a pleasant but underwhelming experience—solid, but not stirring.

Bottle. Pours opaque mahogany, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is dark sugars, bourbon, wood, vanilla. Flavor is full on sweet, light bitter. Very woody, and it feels like it might go tart if left in the fridge too long. Maybe it's just tannin overload.
