Clear deep nutty color with an off white head that vanish a bit to fast. Ok intensity in the aroma. Quite nutty. Medium (+) body and a soft to average carbonation level. A bit to sweet for a brown ale in my opinion. Nutty, bready and fruity flavor.

Bottle, 6.5%. Roasted aroma, hint of marzipan(?!). Clear very dark brown colour. Small frothy tan head. The flavour is malty, sweetish. It actually has some of the notes that the label states, dried fruit and plum, but not to a great degree. Tastes all right, though.

Bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and yeast, with notes of marcipan and touches of phenol. Sweetish flavour of malt, caramel and yeast with notes of nuts and fruity hints, and bitter, hoppy touches. Estery and roasty aftertste, with notes of malt. Not bad.

From a 50 cl shared bottle. Dark amber colour with a creamy fast fading off-white head. Sweet aroma with vinous notes, brown sugar, dusty cardboard notes and a herbal bitterness. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity. Average Brown Ale. The dusty cardboard notes makes this one a little sad experience.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Dark brown colour, beige head. Moderate but not unpleasant malty aroma, hints of chocolate. Fairly rich flavour, malts and chocolate, also caramel, a bit on the sweet side, but not too much.

Flaske delt på RBHD-treff hos Sigmund feb-17: klar rødbrun rav med kort skum. Aroma og smak av mørk karamell, malt, snev av mandler og sjokolade. Svak bitterhet og heldigvis kort ettersmak. For søt.
