Cask @ Cask, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Hoppy with a sugary-malty nose, with malts in its taste. There's some citrus too, also some lager character.

Cask at the Peterborough beer Festival 2017. A clear golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is semi sweet grassy citrus, liquorice, prickly hop. Flavour is composed of grassy citrus hop, liquorice,. Harsh grassy bitterness. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation, drying finish. Ok.

Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, a little dry and fairly crisp. Light and mildly sweet malts. Floral sweetness with a trace of soap. Modest orange peel. Light and mildly bitter dry finish. Not much of the grape character of HB here and an unwelcome return of soap to Mallinsons. Overall okay.
