Juicy session Pale Ale, tropical and citrusy, hopped with Simcoe and Citra.
On May 25 1943, Captain Gaje Ghale was given the task of leading his platoon to take the enemy position. Although it was his first time under fire, Ghale showed outstanding courage.
Shouting the Gurkha battle cry and brandishing his Kukri sword, he led assault after assault on the entrenched enemy. An enemy grenade wounded Ghale and despite being seriously hurt, he continued to engage in hand-to-hand combat, and after a prolonged battle, Ghale’s platoon successfully captured the enemy position.
Captain Gaje Ghale was later awarded the Victorian Cross for gallantry.

Bottle from Thornbridge, who very kindly agreed to deliver to Germany and even gave me 25% discount to help offset the delivery cost. Had this Friday 1st May 2020 listening to Lewsberg - Lewsberg and getting ready to cooking Chicken Rogan Josh from The Curry Guy book, also cooking Homemade Nan Bread and Onion and Potato Bhajis. Pours pale gold with a white head, the tiniest bit of haze. The simcoe and citra hops are very good in this beer, fruity, mostly citrussy, dry finish, a very pleasant session beer.

Bottle at Trishna - London. Pours crystal clear gold with a creamy, pure white head. Great stage, well balanced, lightly dank, plenty of citrus fruits. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, more bright citrus, mellow bready pale malts. Super drinkable. Solid.

Bottle at Gymkhana. It pours clear amber, small white head. The aroma is tangy, orangey citrus, tangerine and orange creamsicle. The taste is crisp, clean, quite soft, orange marmalade, tangerine, candied peel, orange blossom, bit of caramel and some stickiness. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Easy going and works well with curry!
