On cask at Travelers Inn, Apperknowle - Clear golden, thin white head. Nose is straw, grass and citrus. A sweet start and crisp end. It is okay, but I can’t make my mind up whether I am a fan or not. In the past few weeks I’d have killed for this, but on a day full of choice and quality it falls a bit meh.

Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear gold with a fine, white foam head. Nose is all toasty pale malts, orange, straw. Light to medium sweet flavor with toasty straw, mild dry citrus. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Superb condition. Faintly resinous to finish with more straw and hay, some dried out citrus, crisp pale malts. Excellent golden ale.
