Pint at Pursuit of Hoppiness pours a dark brown, nearing black with some creamy, off white head. Nose has . Flavor is a bit beery at first, malt and sugar, the piney character starts to come through as does some roast, some brown sugar. Finishes medium bodied and missing the bitterness I wanted.

Keg at the taproom in Bristol. Pours opaque black with a tan head. Aroma: lightly roasted malts, burnt malts, cocoa, pine. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, dry, burnt toast, a little tangy, piney hop. Dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with generous carb. A decent BIPA with the hops dominated the roast malts, that's how it should be, for me anyway

Can shared in London - cheers to Tipple. Pours clear brown with a foamy tan head. Very nice CDA, rounded, mellow ash, bitter dry cocoa, burnt pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light warmth in the finish, more dry cocoa, dried orange peel, more toasted pine. Sound.

Craft TCR Bottleshare. Thanks to Tips for the can. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy and fairly dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts, slightly aged and tangy tasting. Modest piney hop. Mild tangy fruits. Dry finish. Slightly wishy washy.
