375mL bottle, pours jet black, almost no head. Aroma is rich, with intense bourbon, molasses, burnt dark sugars, and some roast. Flavour is super intense, with lots of roast, big bourbon, meaty notes, and dark sugars. Quite a bit of iron character, reminiscent of some of the older Bas-Canada beers. Super viscous but not cloying or brutal. Excellent.

Taste: taste is along the same lines, a lot of oak, moderately sweet.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with some retention and some lacing notes. Aroma of chocolate notes with some woody bourbon notes with some vanilla notes. Taste is also a mix of chocolate notes with some vanilla notes with some strong woody bourbon notes with a semi-sweet finale. Body is full with an oily texture and good carbonation with some discernible alcohol notes. Nice BA stout with strong quality woody flavors.
