375ml bottle as part of a delivery from House of Trembling Madness and drunk at home. Dark gold with a little haze with a very little white head. Muted aroma with apricot, quince, orange peel, some farmyardy characterand a bit of boiled sweet. Taste is fairly sweet with a bit of sour tang. Short finish. Slight body with carbonation on the low side. Competent but doesn't draw me in.

Almost clear gold beer, short lived and short off white head. A light minerally winey spritz on the nose, just a bare whisper of funk. Palate is light and a little dry and has a good carbonated snap. Very light malts provide the slenderest of backbones for the rest of the beer to do its stuff and very good stuff it is. Spritzy minerally light citrus with some tartish white wine and a little Chardonnay like creamier white wine. Nice light back drop of barrel oaky vanilla. A modest savoury funk provides more dimension. Yeah - touch of Stone fruits. Light finish shows mild citric peel and mild spicyness. My kind of funky tart beer. Full of flavour but not burning your throat away or inducing involuntary facial spasming like all that Belgian sour nonsense that so many inexplicably clamour after. Crisp, refreshing and flavoursome.
