Bottle at Lost In Leith. Appearance - deep purple to maroon. Pink white head. Nose - sweet spice over fresh berries, so cinnamon over raspberry and blackberry. Taste - again, some of that cinnamon, also vanilla and general bourbon notes, with a tart raspberry and blackberry through the finish. Palate - light bodied, tight texture, long and sour throughout. Overall - lovely stuff!

Bottle. CW online. Pours a thick deep raspberry red. Messy, blotchy pink head. Stains the glass on the way down. Nose is ridiculous, frankly. Reduced down red berry. Sweet bourbon. Vanilla oak. Raspberry sauce. Blackcurrant and blackberry tart. Light funk. Taste is juicy and sweet, with a tart, fresh fruit tartness. I’m going to stop now. Gloriously drinkable and stupidly juicy. Wow.
