Szilvás sör (Plum Beer) is a fruity and hoppy lager with real fruits. The fresh plum infusion added to this beer is made by a local, family-owned company called Szabo&Szabo. Our plum lager is a liquid reminiscent of summertimes spent by the riverside or at the barbecue with friends or family.

Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, as Szent András Plum Beer, from Prima Beer, Hobro. ABV is 3.7%. Orange colour, white head. Aroma of plums and marzipan / almond essence. The flavour has a nice fruity acidity, fairly sweet, hints of marzipan / almonds, hardly any bitterness.

Fra flaske ombord på Fridtjofen, rbhd-treff jan-16: lukter marsipan (mandelekstrakt og Anton Berg blomme i madeira) og plommejuice. Lett syrlig, frisk og sødmefylt smak - friskere enn det aromaen forledet meg til å tro. Søte plommer inettersmsken. Gøyal øl. Klar gylden med kort hvitt skum

Shared bottle at RB/HB on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Clear golden. Strong aroma of bitter marzipan and almonds. Refreshing taste, with plums and marzipan and a slight sourness. Quite refreshing!

Bottle 500ml. [ As Békésszentandrási Szilvás Sör ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate marzipan, almond, plum, floral. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, almond, marzipan, plum. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Bottle, Øllets dag, Kolding. Clear dark golden, small white head. Plum and cherry aroma. Similar flavour, notes of marzipan or cherry kernels perhaps, some bitterness. Ok fruitbeer.

Bottle, 3.7% @ Øllets Dag, Kolding. Pours clear orangeish amber with small white head. Clear aroma of plums and malt, with estery and hoppy notes. Sweet flavour of plum juice and malt, with notes of yeast. Sweetish aftertaste. More interesting than good.
