It is fermented spontaneously and matured in French red and white wine barrels. The resulting blend is a complex Orchard Ale; with a wild, tannic and tart character accompanying a crisp apple finish.

2018 vintage, 6.0%, 750ml bottle from the brewery. Pours bright golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of apples, lemon, orange, wood, grass & spice. Medium body. Dry tart finish

Bottle split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, thanks to Dave - Watford, 25/06/21. Golden orange pour with a decent white cap. Nose is tangy fruit esters, musty wood, lemon tinged straw, funk. Taste comprises yeast esters, green berry must, modest funk, lemon rind, light white peppery spice, grains, apple core. Medium bodied bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent.

Bottle shared in Watford - cheers to WW. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet, some peel wood, mild lemony tang, nips of grass. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly clean and dry to finish. Not bad.

Bottle at home shared at the friendly Friday tasting. 25/06/2021. A light hazed orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is tangy green apple, lacto, musty grape, orange rind. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bretty funk brett, lacto, bitter green citrus. Palate is semi sweet, tangy, moderate. Carbonation.

25th June 2021 Tasting at Fergus gaff. Thanks to Wingman. Almost clear paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Thin malts, a very mild sweetness. Light lemony tartness. Modest grapefruit. Little funk. Dry finish. Nicely citric, goes down quite well.
