Bottle from Ravensgate Arms, Ramsgate. Hazy amber colour lasting off white head.. Sweetish sherbert hoppy aroma. Little bit of spiciness. Pretty good drinkability in the mouth, some good strong hop flavour and bitterness on the finish. I liked it.

Keg at BR Peckham. Now called Peckham Rye. It pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head. The nose is sweet, spicy, brown bread, orange sponge cake and marmalade. The taste is bitter, wood, resin, spice, rye bread, marmalade, orange peel, mild astringency and a touch of alcohol with a dry, somewhat spicy finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent stuff. A touch more carbonation would lift it a bit.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14 thanks again to Leighton for writing out the label whilst riding his bike! Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white coverin that retains. Nose is rye bread, light spice, caramel, faint soap, tropican vibes, orange pith. Taste comprises bread dough, tropical fruit notes, light spice, bitter orange. Medium bodied, light spritz in the carbonation, semi drying close with hop bitterness. Ok.
