Our standard Oud Bruin that was boiled for 16 hours instead of 1,5h. This turns the beer into a more full version of the famous Oud Bruin and gives it more of a caramal touch.

Bottle from BIAB, drunk after eating a nice pot roast with ox gravy. reddish brown, big head that looks a pinkish tan. Tangy sour nose with complex caramel biscuit notes. The flavor is amazingly complex, pretty dry, definitely a lot of maillard excitement going on. Chewy toffee, fruitcake, raisins soaked in Schnaps, balsamic vinegar, nutty aftertaste. Wow! Flavor explosion with a huge body.

Rubinbrun vätska med ett tunt skumlock. Dammig, vått läder och lite jordkällare. Syrlig och lät brettig smak. Anstrykning av smör.

Bottle from Beers of Europe shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear mahogany with a thick demerara head. Aromas of wood, wine, cherries, sherbet, light spice and funk together. Taste is sharp sour, more cherry and oak. Almost leathery, some tannins. Lovely beer.

330ml bottle. Clear, reddish brown colour with average, fluffy, slowly osteoporosing, minimallly lacing, dark beige head. Vinous fruity, oaky, spicy aroma, notes of red and dark fruit, black cherry, morello, bramble, blue grapes, prune, a touch of black pepper, some yeasty funkiness, whiffs of vanilla. Taste is tart, tangy, dry oaky, vinous fruity, slightly funky yeasty, notes of dark fruit, black cherry, morello, bramble, prune, blue grapes, a touch of vinegar, black pepper, subtle residual malty sweetness, whiffs of vanilla. Oily texture, slightly astringent and minimally cloying palate, fine, prickly carbonation, lingering tart finish. Well balanced, quite rich and complex, thereby highly drinkable. Very nice.
