Our standard Oud Bruin that was boiled for 16 hours instead of 1,5h. This turns the beer into a more full version of the famous Oud Bruin and gives it more of a caramal touch.

Tap at Hoptic festival. Hazy reddish brown with big creamy beige head. Dry earthy notes, oak, dried red fruits, dusty. Like their other sour browns but a lot less sour and more earthy and malty. Just medium sour, light swee tree and bitter. Medium bodied. Nice.

Bottle at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Dark beer lasting tan head. Tarry Flemish sour. some red fruits. some sourness. liquorice tarry flavour some sourness. it's fine.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is light balsamic, cherries, oak, chocolate, tobacco. Taste is the same, oaky, light vanilla, tobacco. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Good!

Bit fluffy cream head over foxy-brown beer. Red fruit, chocolate, bit vinous, lactic acid. Very sour, sour red fruit, not really chocolate (rather red fruit ganache) and not really Maillard neither. Lip-smacking acidity, acidthinning and... hum. If this is more mild, than the ordinary Oud Bruin is even more acid than I remember. Bit too much to my liking.

Brown colour, small head. Aroma is like in gueuze, intensive sauerkraut, herbs. Also some cane sugar. Heavy sour. Too extreme for me.
