Clean, dry, pithy, bitter. Nicely citrusy and juicy. Obscenely well balanced. Super.

Tap at the brewery taproom bermondsey. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi sweet, orange rind, creamsicle, tangerine, lightly spicy citrus, opal fruits. Palate is semi sweet, flaked grains, moderate carbonation. Flavour is composed of loose bready grains, tangerine orange rind. White grape, sugar dusted, woody hops, earthy pine. A bit muddled.

Keg at HL1, 05/04/19. Light haze on a pale golden pour with a good sized white cap. Nose is mellow citric pith, tangerine, melon, toasted malts, light bready whisper. Taste comprises melon, grass, orange squash, lemon tinged straw, soft breads, papaya, light stoned fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Decent clean drinking pale.

4th May 2019. Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Thanks to AD. on Untappd for the gen. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Slightly tangy intro to the Rakau, little tangy orange - mandarin citrus. Modest citric peel and and ripe yellow grapefruit. Md but tingly hop spice. Light pine and a little floral citrus. Whisper of something tropical before a semi dry and mildly bitter finish. Tidy but didn't recognize this as Rakau.

Tap. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Pale gold. Fully hazy. Bright and shiny. Kernel swede, obviously. Nose has a load of mineral and seltzer. Lemon pith and rind. Touch of tangy lime. Creamy malts. Taste is a little dry and mineraly, with clean, crisp, lemon pith bitterness. Light to medium body. Foamy carbonation. Lightly drying. Lingering, clean mineral bitterness to finish. Clean as a whistle.
