Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear, engaging amber with a creamy white head. Lovely stuff, with pleasant toasted biscuits, light earthy bitterness, grainy bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Well balanced finish with more nice bready malts, low bitterness. Great session stuff. Solid.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Chestnut brown with moderately appointed beige edgework. Nose is bitter fruits, Harveys yeast strain, light toffee. Taste comprises much the same. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter licks in the close. Ok bitter, very Harveys, tangy fruit rinse.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear amber beer, residual ale tan head. Palate is light and dry. Almost no carbonation. Tangy light malts, little caramel. Whisper of tired overripe orange. Light dry finish. Crushingly dull and lifeless.

Cask @ GBBF14. Smooth maltiness, quite full taste for this low ABV. The malt is smooth in the mainpart, not too sweet, but nice round and easy drinkable. The aftertaste is smooth, fresh malty, round with a nice bitterness. Nice brew!

Cask at GBBF 2014. It pours deep mahogany brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, earth, toasty, leather, dried fruits and dirt. The taste is bitter, woody, leather, toast, twig, earth, dried fruit and varnish with a very drying finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Decent low abv bitter.
