Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Clear, dark gold. Halo of white bubbles. Lots of buttery, honey sweetness. Not enough bitterness. No hop fruitiness. Don’t like this at all.

Sweet in the middle but persistent bitterness thereafter. Palate - medium bodied with a big tangy texture, and a long dry finish. Overall - good stuff. Overall -

Keg at Red Squirrel. Pale gold, thin white head, good lacing. Resinous aromas, orange and caramel. Taste has a good bitterness and some thick sweetness. Oily texture, clean finish. Nice. Not great in the bottle mind you.

Clear golden beer with a zesty hop aroma. The flavour is a very sharp, sweet citrus with hops, leaving a sweet, tangy finish. Nice but the strength and sweetness mean I wouldn’t want more than a couple at most.

Keg at the Earl of Essex - London. Pours clear, bright gold with a fine, tight and creamy cap. Tangy citrus nose with tangerine and melon. Medium to big sweet flavor, somewhat boozy, tangy, with ripe and almost rotting orange and grapefruit, some mango. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, lightly sticky and resinous, with faint pine, further tangy citrus fruits. Nothing special, but reasonably drinkable given the ABV.

Keg BrewDog Shoreditch. It pours clear golden yellow with a thick yellowish-white head. The nose is sweetish malt, biscuit, tea, light citrus and dough. The taste is bitter-sweet, biscuit, light floral, decent bitterness, zesty citrus, lemon, peach, tea, light alcohol and lemongrass with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Interesting, pretty solid stuff.
