Bottle from Aldi, Keighley. Clear amber with a small head. Has a lovely full pale ale texture with a good hoppiness and mild caramels and is clean tasting.

500ml bottle. Poured a clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is gluey malt, yeast, tropical fruit hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth rich malt, fruity, light pepper spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

500ml bottle from Aldi - Clear amber body, blotchy white head. Fairly sweet aroma of apricot, grapefruit and I guess it’s melon or nectarine too. Taste starts citrus rind, bitter sweet grapefruit then a bit of barley-cum-grain character.Long dry citrus finish. A good old thirst quencher. Near Wild Heaven.

Bottle. Aldi. Holy shit! A £1.29 beer from Aldi that actually has hops in it! Pale amber with a soft haze. Thin, dense, lasting, white head. The Nelson and Sorachi stand out straight away. Nicely punchy hop, with soft, sweet bready malts in the background. Touch of flora and spice. Taste is lightly sweet, with an earthy, spicy bitterness. Medium body. Fine carbonation. Long, lightly spicy bitterness to finish. Really good, and then factor in the price, and it’s great.

Cask pint in a Portsmouth Wetherspoons on 12th March 2017. Amber bronze body, weak white head. Light malty nose with mild citrus leanings, much prefered the Langham Arapaho I had before this, had more flavour and oomph. This has ’subtle’ aromas and tastes.
