Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 months past BBE. Light cloudy dark gold with small white top. Slightly yeasty aroma with grains and a light dankness. Taste of grains, some orange zest, lemon curd, crackers. Soft medium body, tingly carbonation. Interesting beer, it only half works but I enjoyed it. Its a very odd choice through to advertise as a gateway beer to craft as it really is not suited.

Ye olde can from LCB. It pours deep holds with a decent white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, doughy white bread, biscuity, old grain, touch oxidised, soft fruitiness, pear, melon and hint of citrus. The taste is crispy, dry, fairly sweet on the malt base, doughy bread, rich tea biscuit, apple, pear, melon type fruits, touch of grain and weak floral accents with a dryish finish. Average body and moderate carbonation. An average blonde ale by all accords... A touch sweet maybe. The age doesn't appear to have affected it too much. Fair.

Spotty beige head on a clear amber coloured body. Nominal aroma of malt & wet cardboard. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a tingle. Syrup, raspberry jam, herbal & weirdly Fisherman's Friends tastes. Bizarre - that is so strange.

Can from Home Bargains, Byfleet. Aroma has low key malts, a touch of sour citrus, a touch of 'off' sourness before buttery caramel sweetness intrudes. Clear copper gold. Thin translucent white head recedes quickly. Light bitter. Biscuity malts. Lemon juice edge. Cardboard. And then the sweetness starts to dominateas per the aroma. Light bodied. Slick. Flat-soft carbonation. Dry finish. Really boring. In fact more like an overly sweet lager than anything else. Ppffftttt... that's a raspberry from me.

Can from Homesense, Manchester. Very mildly hazy golden ale with no head. Fairly sessionable for its strength with hops in its nose, but a hint of malt in its taste that gives it a slightly tasty edge.

[473ml can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A hazy amber pour with a thin white head; weak tropical fruit aroma; sweet malty taste with some mango and orange; and a sweet biscuity finish.

355ml can: BB Feb 2022. Drank at home on 16th May 2021. Poured into an old Augustijn chalice, slight mist in the golden body, wispy white head. Aroma and initial flavour of Barley Sugar sweets, but not as 'sweet' taste wise thank goodness. Calmed down a bit and some balance arrived mid-sip. Nice!
