Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear amber with a creamy white head. Lots of pine in here, some toasty malts, earth, dried berries, light minerals. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate sweetness on the finish, more earthy bitterness with accents of leaves and pine. Pretty OK.

Cask at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Rich amber with reddish hues and a moderately appointed light beige covering. Nose is caramel malt, candied sugars, fruit peel. Taste comprises candyfloss, sweet notes, caramel malt, candied fruit peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Solid enough hoppy amber if a bit sweet in places.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear amber color, no head. Smell and taste malts, much more fruitiness than I had expected, some sweetness. Average body and carbonation. Hmm pretty average imo.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2014. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The nose is earthy, wood, peppery, grassy, hay, barnyard and slurry. The taste is bitter, oily, orange peel, tangerine, pepper, earth, leather and resin with a dry finish. Medium body and oily mouth-feel. Decent hoppage for these guys.
