Non-Alcoholic Jelly King is the culmination of our efforts to make a non-alc beer in Jelly King’s image, and one that can convincingly wear the Jelly King crown. We don’t often toot our own horn, but we’re really happy with the results.
Jelly King translates well to a non-alc version, as many of the flavours that make it so nice to drink come from the yeast and the bacteria used in the brewing process. We sour the base of both the beer and the non-alc in the same way, and this results in interesting, predominantly peachy characteristics brought on by mixed fermentation.
This limited edition Non-Alc Jelly King variant was conditioned on loads of mango, guava and passionfruit. Tropical, zesty and delicious!

Can: Poured a hazy pale yellow color ale with a small white foamy head with limited retention and some light lacing. Aroma of light tart notes with some passionfruit and mango notes. Taste is also a nice mix of tart notes with some passionfruit and mango. Body is about average with good carbonation. Easy drinking and refreshing low alcohol with no artificial flavors.

473mL can, pours a cloudy pale orangey yellow with a small white head. Nose has notes of faded tropical fruits, a little lacto, and dry bread. Flavour is sort of juicy, with a decent melange of tropical fruits, light lacto, and gentle sweetness. Not at all bad for a non-alcoholic sour — the fruits sort of cover over the lack of beer depth. Decent.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy amber with light head. Aromas of melons, muddled pineapple, guava, lemon pith, grapes and soft wheaty malts. Flavors of soapy tropical fruit, cold wort, grapes and wheat. Great aroma; not so great taste.

Hazy and pale. Thin head. Lots of starfruit, guava, pineapple. Light body, tart, again lots of fruit punch type of notes and mellow aromatic hop. Light acidity. Solid.
