330ml bottle from Beru Vykhodnoi in Moscow. Pours opaque orange with a thin white head. Aroma is baked apples, apple skin. Taste is sweet and sour. Slightly dry finish. Medium bodied.

Bottled. Goldeny amber colour with no virtually no head. Aroma is apples and mild fruits. Flavour is apple juice with some tart wooden tones, vanilla and mild funk. Nicely dry palate. Smooth and fresh.

Bottle picked up at Meny (Frederiksberg) and drunk at home - orange pour with a small white head. Sweet apple fruity, apple skin, very crisp, medium body, tingling carbonation and light acidity, with a lingering apple finish. Very nice.

Did you know Beer Cats also brings in French Cider? La Chouette Le Cidre Perché 4.5% Made with pure apple juice it pours a deep gold like Rosemint Apple juice with a fizzy light beige head gone in a flash. On the nose, it is very rich and fruity while in the mouth it starts of fruity apples then waxy apple skin and ends pretty dry. Not amazing but a good solid satisfying cider that would shine on a terrace in France on a sunny day. That’d be perfect.

Amber pour, somewhat cloudy and without much of a head. Nose is sweetish, apples, dry but warming. Tastes sweet, again very much natural apple juice feel to it. Light biterness and a bit of funk. Smoky touch in the finish. Dry. Good, albeit a bit simple perhaps.
