Crowler. Amber, with just a slight haze. Nice and old school. Big head the way I poured it. The aroma is that whole pine and crystal malt thing. So it's pretty chewy, and it's got a touch of butter maybe? Anyway, lots of malt, crystal and otherwise. Lots of hop bitterness. That cracks me up. Back when I was at Mt. A, I chose 65IBUs as an internet name, thinking nobody's going to make a beer with that much bitterness. I did, of course and won the school's homebrew competition with it, with my economics prof as the finals judge. And now, Moncton's oldest extant brewery (I remember trying to track down 5 year old bottles of Hans Haus Lager at a Chinese restaurant back in the day), which opened up only a couple years after I graduated, has an old school IPA with 65 IBUs. Apparently I'm older than dirt. This beer matters more to me as a trip down memory lane than as something I enjoy drinking, probably because of that little touch of diacetyl.
