On a flight at the Green Cheek Costa Mesa Taproom on 9th August 2025. Very slight haze to the golden body, white crown. Tropical fruit aroma and taste, decent all round.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 17, 2024. Aroma is very Nelson forward with notes of gooseberry, passion fruit, lychee, tropical citrus and white wine. Light bready grain notes. Light notes of alcohol. Pours a clear, brilliant, yellow-gold with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light bready grain notes and a touch of cracker notes. Medium low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong, hop forward notes of gooseberry, passion fruit, tropical citrus, and white wine. Mouthfeel is light bodied and somewhat crisp with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pilsner with really great Nelson Sauvin notes that get to lead the way in both the aroma and flavor. Balanced bitterness and alcohol notes.

Tap. Pours clear butterscotch, medium white head, good lacing. Aroma is light, hints of pot, armpits, grapefruit. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. Medium body. Nice, but should be an IPL.
