Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Aeronaut Brown Ale ].Clear light dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, brown malt, raisin - plum notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140812]

From cask. Pours hazy dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is hops fruity, mild grapefruity. Toasted, mild hops fruity, slight bitter. Medium dry and crisp hoppy. Toasted and bitter, medium dry finish.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear amber-brown with a foamy head. Rich grainy bread character with some orange rind, dry toffee, old berries, light piney hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Light sweetness on the finish, a little gamey, with notes of ripe orange and oily hops. Fair.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2014. Pours a brown color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. Obscured chestnut brown with moderate light beige edgeing. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, light cocoa. Taste comprises earthy notes, brown sugar, cocoa wash. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok brown ale, nothing too exciting mind.

Cask@GBBF 2014, London (13/08/2014) - fuzzy dark amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma and taste is dark malty, (slightly roasted) some caramel and treacle, some dried fruity notes. Ok.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, few pale tan bubbles. Light dry palate with mild fine carbonation. Tangy dried fruits over mild brown malts. Light dry finish. It’s fine but not the most exciting thing on the US bar!

Cloudy brown with a small beige head, some lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and nutty. Flavors of toasted malts, citrus and nutty

Cask at GBBF, 2014. Light hazy brown pour with a whisper of a white head. Toffee, caramel and some chocolate aroma. Caramel and toffee flavours. A bit thin. Doesn’t enthral me.

Sampled @ GBBF. Hazy red brown color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, buttery, some caramel. Average body and carbonation. Meh, not really nice.
