Mondo taproom. Keg. Hazy amber beer, no real head. Palate is light, fairly dry and crisp. Caramel malts. Light floralness. A dry green hop bitterness contrasts with sweetish bubblegum esters. Touch of dried fruits before a crisp finish. It’s an odd duck but okay.

Keg at Mondo. It pours cloudy deep amber with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, brown bread, leather, mild caramel and berry skin. The taste is bitter, earthy, brown bread, dried fruits, mild acidity, tannins, leather, candy and berry skin with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A touch sweet perhaps, but overall ok.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, reddish good with minimal head. Rich bready malts in the nose, some ripe berries, wheat, yeast. Medium to heavy sweet flavor, with somewhat sugary wheat bread, light alcohol, more berries, esters, faint bubblegum, peach. Medium bodied with fine to average carboantion. Sweet finish, lightly sticky and warming, with more rich wheat bread, ripe fruits, berries, expressive yeast, faint leaves. Pretty good stuff on the whole.
