Keg at Eebria, 11/03/17. Hazed orange amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is orange rinds, grains, very light smoke, spice trace. Taste comprises peppery spices, toffee, dark fruit rinds, orange, faint bonfire, light yeast tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok ... not much smoke on this for me.

On tap at Eebria Taproom Bermondsey. Hazy red orange amber colour lasting beige head. Touch of smoke on aroma .some spicy rye. Decent beer. The smoke is nice. Just about ok without heading into rubber territory.

Keg at Eebria taproom. Pours clear orange with a creamy head. The nose has ripening citrus, a little pine. Light-medium sweet flavour with good citrus fruits, pale bread, piney and lightly grassy hops. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a little resin, some spicy pine, rindy orange. Good one.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol, October 2016. Dark brown with a slight off-white, head. Aroma of charred malts, with some sweet berry fruit, brown sugar and leafy hops. Flavour had sweetish, smoked malts with a touch more fruit and sugar and boozy finish. Good.

Keg at Cock Tavern. It pours hazy deep red - brown with a medium off-white head. The aroma is rich, spicy, smoked, toffee, brown bread and dried fruits. The taste is rather bitter, pine, resin, loads of smoke, wood, mild toffee sweetness, spice and dried fruits with a lingering dry, smoked finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works rather well.
